Pastor Jerome Cuthbertson Jr •
Pastor JC is a passionate communicator dedicated to reintroducing this generation to the transforming power of God—a God who heals, reclaims, and empowers. Ordained on June 1, 2024, by his father, the late Bishop Jerome Cuthbertson Sr., Pastor JC carries a legacy of faith and servant leadership while speaking with fresh creativity and authenticity.
A graduate of the University of Delaware with a degree in Mathematical Sciences and a Vice President at Citigroup, Pastor JC uniquely blends analytical insight with spiritual depth. His teaching makes the Gospel clear and practical, guiding people from survival mode into lives of freedom, restoration, and purpose.
Together with his wife, Araliz, and their three sons, Pastor JC lives out his belief that ministry extends beyond the pulpit into everyday life. Whether through preaching, mentoring, or innovative digital platforms, his calling is simple yet powerful: to awaken identity and ignite purpose in Christ.
If you’re reading this, you might be searching for something real: a fresh start, a safe place, a family of faith that sees you and believes in what God can do through you. That’s Cathedral. Here, we believe what Jesus spoke still speaks—and that His grace still rebuilds stories from the inside out.
Our vision is simple and bold: to reintroduce a generation to the God who heals, reclaims, and empowers—turning pain into purpose and insecurity into identity (Luke 15:17: “But when he came to himself…”). We pursue that vision through biblical transparency, Spirit‑anchored dialogue, and Christ‑inspired love. In other words, we open the Word honestly, we talk to each other with humility, and we love one another like Jesus.
You’ll experience that heartbeat in our Sunday Morning Experience, our midweek Bible Study, our outreach beyond the walls, and our digital community that meets people where they are. Whether you’re exploring faith or ready to grow deeper, there’s a next step for you—serve on a team, join a small group, commit to baptism, or simply sit, heal, and breathe for a season.
If no one has told you lately, let me: God still writes new chapters. He’s ready to write yours, but you still have to choose whether you’re ready to turn the page. Join a family who has turned the page not to forget what was, but to embrace what can be.
You are not a prisoner of the past—you are a pioneer of purpose. Welcome to Cathedral. Let’s walk this out together.
