We are a multigenerational church planted in legacy, growing in grace. Cathedral was birthed out of Gospel Tabernacle UHC and renamed in 2009 by Bishop Jerome Cuthbertson Sr. as a declaration that God still makes all things new. In 2015, we moved from Philadelphia to our current home in Wilmington, Delaware, renovating a welcoming space that reflects excellence and extends grace to every person who walks through the doors.

In June 2024, Bishop installed his successor and son, Pastor Jerome “JC” Cuthbertson Jr., as our next shepherd—just weeks before Bishop’s transition to glory. Pastor JC accepted his call to ministry in 2018 and was ordained an Elder on January 22, 2023. Today he leads with biblical transparency, Spirit‑anchored dialogue, and Christ‑inspired love, guided by our vision: to reintroduce a generation to the God who heals, reclaims, and empowers—turning pain into purpose and insecurity into identity (Luke 15:17).
